In 2021, we — Rishang and Puneet, both aligner patients — found ourselves constantly forgetting aligner changes, struggling to hit wear-time goals, and relying on sticky notes to stay on track.
We were being treated by Dr. Akhil at Route to Smile, an aligner lab in India. While the results were great, the experience made one thing clear: patients needed better tools, and the industry needed a smarter way to manage care.

From Problem to Platform
As we dug deeper, we realized the problem wasn’t just with patients. Running an aligner lab meant juggling manufacturing, logistics, communication, and tracking — with no digital support.
Our early attempts to build tech solutions failed. But we saw something others didn’t: the rise of in-office aligner labs. And with it, a big opportunity — to build the digital backbone for the entire ecosystem.
That sparked a bigger idea: empowering orthodontists to run their own digital-first aligner businesses with a plug-and-play platform.
Building Dental Stack
That’s when Ashish, a seasoned tech leader, joined us. Together with orthodontists like Dr. Akhil and Dr. Abhiyanth, we built a white-labeled platform that connects labs, doctors, and patients in real-time.
After a year of building, Dental Stack launched — helping labs and clinics set up a fully functional, tech-led aligner business in hours, not months.
Where We Are Now
Today, Dental Stack powers a global network of orthodontists, planning centers, and labs. With AI-driven features and IoT tools, we’re reshaping how aligners are made, delivered, and managed.
And we’re just getting started.
